Postcards from Paradise is the 18th studio album by Ringo Starr. It was released on 31 March 2015. The album was produced completely by Starr himself, and engineered by longtime collaborator Bruce Sugar. Several album titles were considered, including Let Love Lead. Starr worked with many of his regular songwriting and recording colleagues on Postcards from Paradise, including Van Dyke Parks, Dave Stewart, and Gary Burr. As with his previous albums, Starr maintains a philosophy of If you show up. Album 2015 11 Songs. Theres a heartfelt, backward-gazing feel to Ringo Starrs 18th studio album, and, within the tropes of classic rock n roll, its done extremely well. Compared to Ringo 2012, Postcards from Paradise is an improvement as the album is longer and doesnt feel rushed Ringo 2012 was less than half an hour. Still, the album is certainly not an instant classic. If anything, Ringo makes his albums for fun. With that being said, Postcards from Paradise is a fun album to listen to. When looking at the tracking list for the album, I was impressed to see that there wasnt a song with Liverpool in the title. The opening. Apr 24th 2015.
