Album

The Beatles, also known as the White Album, is the ninth studio album and only double album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 22 November 1968. Its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed, which was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Beatles is recognised for its fragmentary style and diverse range of genres, including folk, British blues, ska, music hall. The Beatles or The White album as it became better known was released on 22nd November, 1968 on the fifth anniversary of their second album, With The Beatles. A total of 34 new tracks were released in 1968 and 30 were contained on this one double-LP. The Beatles early releases were on the Vee-Jay, Swan and Tollie labels, before EMIs US counterpart, Capitol, sat up and took notice. Unfortunately for The Beatles, Capitol often insisted in dropping certain tracks, reassembling running orders and constructing new releases by economic and judicious use of the songs that were coming from London. I was late getting to the party that was The Beatle years. I was 11 in 1975 when I was introduced to their music. The first album I bought was Introducing The Beatles on Vee-Jay. I built my collection with the US releases and eventually acquired the UK releasesLPs and EPs. The Beatles' Second Album shows just how complex things were already starting to get. For its 11 songs, Capitol borrowed the remaining five tracks from With the Beatles, their most recent single She Loves You, Ill Get You and four stray tracks: Long Tall Sally and I Call Your Name from a British EP, Thank You Girl the From Me to You B-side and You Cant Do That, from the. Capitol didn't have the rights to the soundtrack of the Beatles' first movie. Film studio United Artists did, and they centered this album on eight songs from the U. record the seven tracks heard in the movie and I'll Cry Instead. The Beatles commonly known as The White Album is the eponymous ninth studio album by English rock band The Beatles. It was first released as a double album on 22 November 1968 in the United Kingdom by Apple Records and on 25 November 1968 in the United States by Capitol Records. Its plain white sleeve has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed on it, which was intended as a direct contrast to the vivid cover artwork of the band's previous album Sgt. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей The Beatles. Not musically, of course-raw and sprawling, The White Album contains some of their richest and most enduring songs-but insofar as the LP showed they were starting to work and develop distinct styles apart from one another. The final mix we did actually sounds more like the demo in some ways. They really valued each other as musicians and contributors to everything they did, and thats what you hear in The White Album-the way the other members of the band added to the record to create the final version. MEET THE BEATLES was originally released January 10, 1964 in the U. It spent 11 weeks at No. Track Listings. Disc: 1. More brilliance from The Fab Four. We're given both the mono and stereo versions here. This album got me hooked on The Beatles and fifty plus years later it still has me hooked. The musicianship and vocals are really top flight. This disc offers us some pretty important Beatles songs
