This Christmas album by the Platters was originally released in 1963. This was one of the last albums that they made for Mercury Records. Incidently, their producer Buck Ram was the co-writer of the Christmas classic I'll Be Home For Christmas, which unsurprisingly is included here. The Platters were one of the most important vocal groups of the early rock and roll era, but this album doesn't rock very much with the exception of the redundantly titled Jingle Bells Jingle.
